THE CONSOLIDATION OF PRECOCIOUS SUCCESS
Mario Casas (left) and Miguel Ángel Muñoz started as children in the cinema.
M.Á.Muñoz: “The uncertainty is
continuous. Doctor House had his chance
at the age of 40!”
Mario Casas and Miguel
Ángel Muñoz
(previous double page). At 14 years of age,
Mario Casas would already show up at the
casting calls alone. Today he is a teen idol
who operates just as easily on TV (he just
debuted the series El barco) and in movies
(he debuted in El camino de los ingleses
and now has Carne de neon and 3 metros
sobre el cielo at box offices.) “I was going
to be a soccer player,” recounts Miguel
Ángel Muñoz. Life wound up bringing
him to a movie set “to trick me once and
for all.” “This profession is full of
uncertainties, but it is the most enjoyable of
all. And you have your whole life ahead of
you. Doctor House had his chance at the
age of 40!”
