Reserving Computers on Campus

Finding Computers on Campus
There are two main laptop sources that faculty can reserve for their students to use to fill out course
evaluations: Labs on Wheels and Notebook lockers.
Labs on Wheels (LOW) are carts with 24 laptops, located in the following buildings: ASC, HAB, NS,
PENGL, and the Quad. The LOWs do not leave their buildings and must be reserved as a unit. To reserve
LOWs in the HAB and ASC, contact Media Services at x5609. To reserve LOWs in PENGL/NSC and the
Quad, contact Media Services at x2117.
Notebook Lockers: Laptops in the notebook lockers are intended for use only in their assigned rooms.
To reserve Notebook lockers in the ASC or HAB, contact Media Services at x5609. To reserve Notebook

Loaner Pool: There are 14 total devices in this pool available for faculty to check out. Two of these
devices are Netbooks; the other 12 are full-size laptops. The devices are currently at St. Ben’s but can be
used by faculty on any campus. However, these devices are generally used by faculty for short periods of
time (2 weeks at the longest) for conferences or other events. Therefore, students will be unable to log
onto them using their student account information. To check out these computers, contact Laurie Birr at
extension x5565.
Desktop computers are available in the following facilities. They are reserved by contacting the
Registrar’s office:
