Happy New Year! Your new year’s resolution to wear better clothes is coming true. Today you will
design a new wardrobe using a web site called Polyvore.
First you will watch the following tutorial on using polyvore. Pay attention and remember you can look
back at the video whenever you have a question.

You will design 5 different outfits following the guidelines given below.
1. You are going to the White House to receive an award for saving Mrs. Hatch’s life by pulling her
from a burning car. You should wear a monochromatic outfit.
2. You have been invited to Norma’s quinceanera. It is a great celebration and you want to dress
cheerfully so you choose a triadic color scheme.
3. You have your first job interview and want to make a good impression. You know that you will
be in competition with some older candidates and are concerned about looking too young.
Wear a neutral color scheme outfit.
4. It’s Sports Day and you get to wear whatever you want to celebrate your favorite team, as long
as your clothes show a complimentary color scheme.
5. Finally you made it to the 8th grade end of year celebration. The dance is in the evening and your
big chance to look amazing. Be sure you follow dress code but other than that, all bets are off.
