ADDRESSING THE NEEDS OF CWA LOCAL 1180 RETIREES AND EMPOWERING
THEM WITH INFORMATION AND AN ACTIVE LIFESTYLE
Director’s Column
Suzanne E. Beatty, LMSW
A life well lived is what we all strive for. How we each choose to live
varies, but as a whole the element that is identical in each case is that
we all want to be happy. When we pursue happiness and work to be
our best selves, we have lived a good life. Sometimes though, we are
sidetracked from the path that leads us to our goals. We become involved in situations that encompass our days and follow
others that seem to have what we seek. We forget what
it is in fact that we were looking for to begin with and
don't know how to get back on track. We become out of

that’s just not good for me. ” Lastly: Know your priorities. Decisions are so much easier when you know what

Benefit Meeting & Luncheon
A woman gets on a bus with her baby. The bus driver
says: “That's the ugliest baby that I've ever seen.
Ugh!” The woman goes to the rear of the bus and sits
down, fuming. She says to a man next to her: “The
driver just insulted me!”
The man says: “That’s terrible! You go right up there
and tell him off – go ahead, I'll hold your monkey for
you.”
