POOL PLAY
- Pool Red begins at 8:00 AM. Pool Blue, Green and Yellow plays at 9:30 AM
- Pool Red play will consist of two games to 25, win by 2, cap at 30. Pool Blue, Green and Yellow will consist
of 3 games to 25, win by 2, cap at 30.
- Each team must provide their own whistles and warm up balls.
- Warm up will be 10 (2/4/4) minutes for the first game, for each team, after that (1/2/2).

TOURNAMENT PLAY







Top 2 teams in each pool will play in the Championship Division.
Third place team in pool Blue, Green and Yellow and 3rd & 4th place team pool Red will play in
Consolation Division
Games will be best two out of three. First two games to 25, win by 2 cap at 30. Third game to 15, no
cap and switch at 8.
Place of teams will be pre-determined
Pool places will be determined by:
o Overall pool set record
o 2 way tie – head to head competition.
o Point differentional throughout whole pool play
o Coin flip
Coaches, make sure you know when you ref during bracket play.
Medals will be given to the 1st and 2nd place in the Championship Division and 1st in the Consolation
Division

 Coaches meeting on South Court at 7:40 AM
 Scheduled, Results and Tournament Brackets will be posted outside of gymnasium
 Games will start at 8:00 AM for pool Red with and 9:30 AM for pools Blue, Green and
Yellow
 Pool play for Red pool will be two games to 25, win by 2, cap at 30. Pool play for Blue,
Green and Yellow pools will play 3 games to 25, win by 2, cap at 30.

Coaches must be the up ref for each game, make sure you keep the tournament moving
and on time.
 Remind the girls to pay attention when keeping score and no cell phones while working
and make sure they put down the correct score after each game.
 Each team must provide their own whistles and balls, 12’s will use Volley Lites
volleyballs
 Players will serve from the regular back line
 Warm ups will be 10 (2/4/4) first game and (1/2/2) the rest of the day
 There will be a small break between pool play and bracket play for everyone to catch
their breath, eat, bathroom etc. and set up bracket play. Starting time for bracket play
will be posted on the wall by the brackets
Tournament Play:
