PARALLELOGRAM MEASURING HEADS TL414 TL414 parallelogram measurement heads are used for internal as well as external measurements and where only limited space is available. Sensor element is the same inductance bridge used for the probes, with which they are electrically interchangeable. The heads consist of two parts connected by cantilever arms forming a parallelogram. The fixed one to be fastened to the measuring fixture carrying the transducer's coil system, the other carrying the ferromagnetic nucleus and the arm sensing the work to be measured. The mechanical structure of the parallelogram is very sturdy the cantilever arms being obtained machining solid spring bars, resulting in very high sensitivity precision and stability. Linearity is well below 1% of the measuring range and high movement repeatability is achieved even with wide-apart and long probe arms. Heads are available with various measurement pressures in both probe sensing directions, with and without pneumatic retraction. CHARACTERISTICS • • • • • • • • • Probe attachment: as in fig. A.
