“Master, our engines have failed,” yelled Ninwocka B-23, “We are currently falling towards the main populous
center of Sol 3. What should we do?”
After a few seconds, the shrill voice of the master filled B-23's ears. “Try to crash in a city. Then, kill all sentient
beings that reside there. We will send a mono-pod to collect you and any loot you find there.”
B-23 readjusted his trajectory course. The city was still asleep as the ship crashed into a small island in the largest
sea of the planet, which, to its residents, was known as earth.
Part the First
Adam awoke to the sound of a shrill warning alarm. As he jumped out of bed, he checked the emergency warning
screen. It was a bright orange. Orange, the color of the Ninwocka, a species that always followed the command of
the one they called their master. They were rarely seen nowadays, especially after their defeat over a decade ago
in Galaxy War III. There was only one thing on earth that the Ninwocka feared, and that was the raspy breathed
Nitaurel.
Adam grabbed his emergency bag, and made his way to the nearest escape route, which happened to be the
labyrinth. The labyrinth had been built long ago, during a time before the Ninwocka. Some said they were as old
as time itself. City limits ended partway through the labyrinth, and so it was used as a way to escape from an
attack. Hover buses were kept at the exit, and not in the city, so the Ninwocka could not steal the technology that
they had in them. The escape was well coordinated, and everybody was prepared for the day it was needed. And
that day was today.
