Bikes are checked out the same way as library books. All bikes are equipped with front and rear lights for your safety, and helmets are available for checkout. Mayer Campus Center Fix It Station Tufts’ new Fix It Station has all of the tools needed to repair your bike and perform routine maintenance. Whether you need fresh air in your tires or have to adjust your breaks, the Fix It station allows you to make adjustments quickly so you can get back on the road. Travel further with Hubway. Hubway is the Boston Metro area’s bike sharing system. There are more than 1,500 Hubway bikes at 155 stations throughout Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, and Somerville. If you ever feel uncomfortable while cycling at night, the Tufts University Police Department offers a program to help you arrive safely at your destination.
