JANUARY 3, 2016 ANNUAL & MONTHLY MEETING MINUTES
President, Judy Shaffer, opened the meeting at 3:00 pm. A count was taken
of those planning to attend dinner at Dino’s Greek & Italian Grill. There were
18 counted.
The membership were reminded to pay their dues, by no later than February
15th or they would not be able to participate in activities and their name
would be dropped from the roster.
It was announced that Bobbie Ence has agreed to stay on as Secretary.
The December Minutes were approved by Shawnee Robison & Jane Schaffer.
President, Judy Shaffer, asked that the outgoing board come forward, and
each were thanked for their service. Nancy Sheridan was also recognized
and thanked.
The final numbers for our charity donations were announced. HYC was
$4,120.05 and Fighter Country Foundation (Luke AFB) was 3,412.25.
The membership was asked to submit their suggestions for this years
Charity by February 1st.
President, Judy Shaffer, asked for a volunteer to assume the position of
Activity Director, that was vacated by Sheldon Tencer.
Treasurer, Judy Ashley, gave the December & End of the Year Financial
Reports.
The totals of the 50/25/25 Drawings were $182.00 collected. Charity will
receive $91.00. The winners Judi Wolowitz and Linda Adams each receiving
$46.00.
Dan Miczek rolled out the new Web Site to the membership. He
demonstrated how easy it will be to use. The web site address is

We asked members to join our Buddy Program, for those that do not have
email.

The members of The Activities Committee and Hosts were thanked for their
service.
The winner of the $10.00 Activities Certificate was Judy Ashley.
It was announced that the February meeting will be held at 12:30 pm
instead of 3:00 pm so that folks can get to their Super Bowl Parties.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:20 pm.
