Research has focused on positive health benefits of unique dietary fatty acids
and phospholipids of microbial, plant and ruminant origin on pancreatic b
cells and drug-resistant cancer cells. The research aims to discover tissuespecific functions of lipids to aid in diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of
cancer and diabetes.
A working knowledge of operating Varian CP3800 Gas Chromatograph,
sample injection, and data analysis.
