Today we are still a film group run only by volunteers, who concentrate on screening films from Spain, Portugal and Latin America. Independent and emerging cinema from the region relies on a solid media platform such as Melbourne Filmoteca to be exhibited to new audiences and potentially local film festivals and distributors. This all happens each month at one of the most iconic venues in town, the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI). In this program we strive to curate films that truly represent the diversity of the multiculturalist experience OUR SPONSORS – Special thanks to our sponsors for their great support this year!
