Non-uniform Day
Balls in School
Next Friday will be a non-uniform day and we are asking
pupils to bring in a ‘bottle’ donation for the Christmas
Fair.
Please can children refrain from bringing footballs
into school to play with at break/lunchtimes as
school provides balls for children to play with on a
rota with the rest of the outdoor equipment and it
can cause disputes within the playground.
Friends of Stocks Lane have asked me to remind you that
this can be any bottle - for example: wine, sauce, juice
and bubble bath.
Harvest Festival
We celebrated a wonderful harvest festival in school this
week, with the children sharing some of their harvest
work. Could I take this opportunity to thank everyone for
your wonderful donations which have been greatly
received by the lady who coordinates the Save Our
Soldier’s Charity. As always she was amazed by the
generosity of our pupils.
Home School Agreement and Emergency Contact
Forms
Could we please ask that the forms given out at
parent’s evening are updated and returned to school
as soon as possible.

Professional Ballet Presentation
We are delighted to have
a professional ballet
dancer, Charlotte
Ingleson, performing for
us on Tuesday 21st
October at 9:00am and we
would like to invite you to
join us to watch her
presentation in the school
hall.
Charlotte started dancing when she was four and her
love for ballet started when she was lucky enough to
step on to the Bradford Alhambra Stage at 9, as a
Sunbeam in the pantomime. She realised then, that
this was something she wanted to do for the rest of
her life.
She has enjoyed a career as a ballerina, dancing
around the world with many international ballet
companies and with great choreographers.
Charlotte was born and raised in Bradford and with a
huge love for teaching and a passion to give back into
the community where her career started, 'Ballet
North UK' was born, with the aim to offer first
class dance training in the heart of West Yorkshire.
We are looking to work with Ballet North UK to
offer classes to our pupils to develop discipline,
confidence, listening
and observational skills
and movement and
strength that can be
achieved through
ballet.
We hope that many
of you will be able to
join us on Tuesday
morning.
