Sponsorship Terms and Conditions
In consideration of the fee paid to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA, and upon
confirmation of acceptance of application, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA
grants to the entity or person named on the application form (“the Sponsor”) the benefits of
sponsorship listed in the attached application form (“the Sponsorship Rights”) subject to the
following terms and conditions (“the Sponsorship Terms”):
1. 50% of the total registration fee for Payment for Sponsorship Rights must be made
upon the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA receiving the signed registration
form. The remaining 50% of the total registration fee must be made by the date
specified in the application form or if no date is specified, at least 30 days prior to
the sponsorship event (“the Final Date for Payment”).
2. Sponsor inclusions will only begin once 50% of the total registration fee for
Sponsorship Rights is made upon the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of WA.
3. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA reserves the right to refuse
Sponsorship Rights to any applicant whose application and/or payment is received
after the Final Date for Payment.
4. Cancellations received before the Final Date for Payment will be refunded 25% of
the total initial registration fee. Cancellations received after the Final Date for
Payment render payment non-refundable and the Sponsor remains liable for the full
payment due in respect of the Sponsorship Rights.
5. The Sponsor shall be entitled to the Sponsorship Rights only and nothing in the
Sponsorship Terms or the Event Terms (as defined below) shall be construed as
granting any other rights or benefits to the Sponsor.
6. The Sponsor shall be solely responsible and liable for all content or materials used in
accordance with Sponsorship Rights including, without limitation, any content or
materials of a third party.
7. The Sponsor warrants that all advertising and promotional content or material
published, displayed, broadcast, advertised, exhibited or otherwise promoted by the
Sponsor pursuant to the Sponsorship Rights:

complies with the specifications (if any) stated in the application;
is truthful and accurate and complies with all applicable legislation, regulations,
rules and standards (including, but not limited to, decency, privacy and
intellectual property rights); and

comply with these terms and conditions.
8. The Sponsor fully indemnifies and holds the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA
harmless against any loss, damage, action, demand, expense, claim or obligation the
Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA has or may expend, suffer or incur by
reason of or in any way consequent upon, arising out of or incidental to the
Sponsor’s breach of the Sponsorship Terms or the Chamber of Commerce and
Industry WA – Standard Terms & Conditions (& Disclaimer) (“the Events Terms”)
provided that this indemnity shall not apply to any advertising or promotional
material or content expressly approved by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry
WA.
9. In exercising the Sponsorship Rights, the Sponsor shall not do anything or become
involved in any situation which, in the reasonable opinion of the Chamber of
Commerce and Industry WA, brings the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA
into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule, offends public opinion or
reflects unfavourably upon the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA’s reputation
(as to do so would breach these terms and conditions) and the Chamber of
Commerce and Industry WA will be the sole arbiter in this regard.
10. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA reserves the right to immediately
refuse and withdraw from the Sponsor the Sponsorship Rights, without notice,
where the Sponsor is in breach of the Sponsorship Terms. If the Sponsorship Rights
are withdrawn then the Sponsor shall immediately withdraw from publication,
display, broadcast, advertisement, exhibition or otherwise all advertising and
promotional content or material promoted by the Sponsor pursuant to the
Sponsorship Rights. If the Sponsor is in breach of the Sponsorship terms and the
Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA withdraws from the Sponsor the
Sponsorship Rights, any price paid to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA
for the Sponsorship Rights by the Sponsor will be non-refundable.
