To help me develop my skills in Geography, I am going to:
Create a scientists report on one extreme weather event from the following list so that I can compare it with Hurricane Katrina :

Flooding in the Lake District, Dec 2015
To be successful in my homework, I need to include:
1.An attractive and relevant title page clearly showing what the project is about.
2.An explanation of where and when your extreme weather event happened.
3.What caused your event to happen?
4.An outline of the effects on humans and effects on the environment.
5.How did people clean up / respond after the disaster?
To challenge myself, I will also include:
Write a paragraph showing your own opinion on this natural disaster – did people prepare properly? Could anything more have been done to
prevent it happening?
