History of the Scholar Athlete Luncheon
In 1994, marking its 75th Anniversary Year, the New Jersey State
Interscholastic Athletic Association inaugurated the Annual Scholar
Athlete Luncheon. 2016 marks our twenty third year. Over that time
span, we have honored over 7,050 scholar/athletes and presented
over $1,682,000 in scholarships.
It is our honor to welcome this year’s scholar/athletes. We join their
parents/guardians, schools and communities in congratulating them.
To those scholar/athletes honored today, a job well done - continued
