Why are digestive enzymes in the formula?
The formula includes a full spectrum of digestive
enzymes to promote optimal digestion of
macronutrients including carbohydrates (amylase
and alpha-galactosidase), sucrose (invertase),
fats (lipase), proteins (protease) and fiber
(phytase). Intended to promote normal innate
capacity rather than an enzyme replacement
strategy.*

Are there any product precautions?
This product has no known adverse effects. It contains
herbs that are not recommended during pregnancy,34
and information on safe use in nursing women is lacking.
What product quality control tests are performed?
Complete Digestive Balance is manufactured in
facilities that meet or exceed current Good
Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Quality control tests
are performed at every stage of the process from
rigorous raw material testing to finished product testing.
Why are chromium and zinc in the formula?
Chromium is an essential mineral that promotes
insulin sensitivity and glycemic control. By
activating insulin, chromium plays a role in the
metabolism of carbohydrate, fat and protein.
Clinical studies suggest that 200 mcg/day of
supplemental chromium may benefit carbohydrate
