Sydney’s country pop trio Victoria Avenue has firmly established themselves as a fresh country pop act to keep
an eye out for. Like all ambitious young artists the girls have their sights firmly set on bringing their fun brand of
country pop to a wider national audience. Since an early age,music and performance have been pumping
through their veins, delivering a passion to their craft that is undeniable.
Victoria Avenue’s perfectly synchronized three part harmonies leaves an impression for all that come across
them. Fans are immediately drawn through the relevance of their music and style, allowing people of all ages to
connect with them.
Launched in 2014 at the Tamworth Country Music Festival (TCMF), Victoria Avenue left their signature cheeky
sound of Modern country style on country music fans and industry alike. The independently strong and playful
trio wear their hearts on their sleeves, always giving and authentic performance while reaching for the sky. “We
have been given the opportunity by fans to do what we love, what we believe we were born to do, sing! We are
going to absolutely make the most of it. We have set our sights high and want to capture the imagination of
music fans everywhere.”
A successful TCMF led to an invitation by Morgan Evans and Kaylee Bell to perform with them at the prestigious
CMC Rocks the Hunter Festival in March 2014. Since this landmark event, Victoria Avenue have been asked to
open for the likes of Morgan Evans, Kaylens Rain and The Viper Creek Band, which has taken them on to tour
through Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales & Queensland. Making their debut at their first Deni Ute Muster in
2014, the girls plan to hit the stage with their own band at the CMC Rocks Queensland line up for 2015.
Off the back of TCMF, Victoria Avenue headed into the studio to work with renowned producer Andrew Cochrane
(Kaylens Rain, Kaylee Bell, Jared Porter, Christie Lamb) to record their debut single “Quit You”, which went to
the top spot on the iTunes Country charts. The follow up single “Knock Knock” also debuted in the top 3 on the
same chart, has cemented the trio as one of the hottest acts in Australian country right now. 2015 has already
gone off with a bang after playing 10 back to back shows in Tamworth Victoria Avenue have been nominated for
Three CMC Awards, Oz Artists of the year, Group or Duo of the Year and New Oz Artist of the Year.
The fun trio also have a fused their love of fashion with their style of music, being named the faces of Island
State Bikinis in 2014. “Our clothes let people see who we are before we open our mouths, we are young, love to
have fun, feel alive and get dressed up. We believe our style is the fusion of between what is right now in
mainstream with a twist of country.”
Although the girls have had what could be described as a whirlwind year, they are concentrating on putting one
foot in front of the other marching forward, making as much noise as they can. “Performing with Morgan Evans at
CMC Rocks the Hunter in 2014 during what can only be described as tornado like conditions, looking out and
seeing all those people singing back in the pouring rain, that moment made us want it bad.”
“We had so many questions about our future, both personally and professionally, we love that people are
interested enough to care” Tiara explains.
“The biggest question we get is, ‘how did three girls from The Hills area get into country music?’ Now after being
fully emerged in the industry we can safely say it’s the only way to go, we have incredible support from CM
industry, and media. It also goes without saying that the fans are the best in the world! We love our country
music and the authenticity that country music artists have. The raw vocal and instruments leave nothing to hide
behind, what you see is what you get.”
