Week 5
I AM__ “THE Good Shepherd”
INTRODUCTION
How many of you have ever felt lost? Maybe you were lost as far as it pertains to directions
and traveling somewhere or maybe it was just a feeling of not knowing where you are going
in your life, essentially your purpose. Both situations can be scary! There is really nothing like
being lost, but the good news is that there is relief from it. Maybe you find relief by stopping
to ask for directions or seeking counsel from someone you trust, or maybe you spend time in
prayer, seeking the ultimate direction-giver and life-guider that there is: GOD!
Whenever you feel lost you have a heavenly Father who is always looking out for you and
wants to see you on the right path, not lost. All you have to do is seek Him and ask for His
help.

ACTION STEP
For your action step this week, make an intentional effort to think about the lost people in
your life! Jesus is relentless in His search for the lost, and we need to have that same attitude.
Make a list of people in your life that are currently lost and need to start a relationship with
Jesus as a believer found in Him. Spend some time in prayer asking God to give them His
spirit of wisdom and revelation as well as give you the opportunity to share your story and
encourage them to take their next steps. Then, take a step out of your comfort zone and
invite them out for coffee, dinner, or give them a call! Even if you are nervous, believe that
God will use each opportunity for His good.
