MORE INFO ON WINDY GAP WINDY GAP www.windygap.younglife.org 828-645-7187 SAFETY There will be an YL Leader (older college student and/or adult) for every 5-7 students going from our area. Windy Gap also has a fully staffed Property Team that is there year-round. They are good at what they do and know what they are doing. Additionally, while we are at Windy Gap, there will be a Camp Doctor, nurse, and EMT. Safety is the primary concern at YL Properties. The Windy Gap Team has fully prepared response plans for any possible incident. If you have specific concerns, dietary needs, etc. please give us a call. CONTACTING YOUR CHILD Due to Windy Gap's location in the mountains, cell phone coverage is inconsistent with most providers. Pay phones are located on the property. Messages can also be left on the Windy Gap general voicemail box. These messages are checked periodically throughout the weekend and will be forwarded to your child. If you have an emergency, please call our emergency cell phone number at 828-337-3937. Eric will have access to email and will be checking it throughout the trip, so if you need to, you can email him at [email protected].
