Procedure:
• Phase A - Heat Phase A to 70 - 75°C. Mix well until uniform and waxes are melted. Once batch is uniform,
pour into containers.
About the Ingredients:
Pomace Olive Oil: A natural vegetable oil that comes from the olive’s husk. It possesses excellent emollient properties
and has a superior moisturizing effect on the skin. Pomace Olive Oil also provides excellent skin care properties such as
smoothness and lubricity.
Kester Wax K-60P: A soft and pliable polyester wax that is naturally derived from castor oil. Kester Wax K -60P
is ideal for creating creamier textures while increasing the stability of your product. A vegan beeswax substitute can be
made when combining 40 - 50% of K-60P with 50 - 60% of Kester Wax K-62.
Kester Wax K-62: An NPA certified, medium chain ester wax. The primary advantages of Kester Wax K-62 are
its excellent oil gelling and oil binding capabilities, and its broad compatibility with lipid cosmetic ingredients. It is
recommended as an emollient, thickener, gellant, and opacifier.
Orange Peel Wax: An emollient and moisturizer with an excellent skin feel. It also acts as a lanolin substitute
and free radical scavenger, offers mild anti-microbial activity, and is non-phototoxic.
Kester Wax K-24: A plant-based low molecular weight, very pure monoester. It has application as a slip agent and
skin penetrating agent for anhydrous systems. K-24 can replace many ester oils in cosmetic formulas and provide a
smooth non-greasy feel.
