complete these tasks. You will basically be writing essays to explain main components of what we have
discussed in class this year. Task must be completed in full by April 25tht. This task will be worth 110
points!!
1. Highlight the differences between the Federalists and Anti-Federalists. (1 page)

2. Explain how to Amend the Constitution. (1 page)
a. Explain in depth 2 ways the Constitution can be amended.
b. List at least 2 Supreme Court decisions that have changed our country. What was the
Supreme Court case and what did it rule?
c. What are informal methods for changing the Constitution?
3. Reconstruction Amendments 13, 14, 15 (1 page)
a. Provide a summary of EACH amendment. Why was the amendment important?
4. Progressive Amendments 16, 17, 18, 19 (2 pages)
a. Provide a summary of EACH amendment. How did this amendment impact society?
5. Highlight the FOUR amendments that have provided extensions of suffrage to disenfranchised
groups. (2 pages)
a. Summarize the 15th, 19th, 24th, and 26th Amendments. What is the common theme of
these? What impact did this have on society?
6. Highlight the FIVE amendments that have altered provisions for the presidential election.

a. Summarize the 12th, 20th, 22nd, 23rd, and 25th Amendments.
7. Explain the unique historical circumstances of the 11th, 21st and 27th Amendments. What
happened that caused the passage of these amendments? (2 pages)
a. When explaining 21st, detail enforcement of 18th amendment and how that leads to 21st
amendment.
8. List the three branches of government and what their jobs are. List how each branch checks the
other two branches. Must be in written format. NO CHARTS!! (1 page)
