o This book is about a group of animals who are very hot outside. They all see a pitcher of water and
want a drink, but they all have trouble getting to the water. Finally a bird has an idea to get to the
water. Let’s look at the pages and try to guess what bird will do?
o Turn to page 4. Who is trying to get the water here?
o On page 6 who do you see?
o On page 8 Crow tries to get to the water, but she almost fell in. Then she comes up with an idea to
help her get that water. What do you think it will be?
o Let’s read the book to find out how she gets to the water?
