Open studio and plein air painting. Plein air painting is about leaving the four walls of your studio behind and
experiencing painting and drawing in the landscape. The practice goes back for centuries but was truly made
into an art form by the French Impressionists. Artists are invited to set up in the sculpture garden and enjoy
that day!
Try your hand at wheel throwing and slab rolling in the ceramic studio. Artists will be on hand to guide you
and offer assistance.

The Colquitt County Arts Center invites you, our Patrons, to participate in our Patron's Choice Exhibit.
Consider bringing up to 2 artworks from your private collection to include in the exhibit in the Vereen Gallery
from April 7th, the night of the Patron Gala, until April 12th.
Pieces will be ready to pick up on April 12th by 5:00 P.M.

Music, movement, balance and the basic dance steps are introduced in a fun, friendly and positive manner.
This type of class includes mom or dad or another loved one participating in the class along with the little
dancer. Our teachers will keep the music and curriculum moving along while parents take an active role in
encouraging, supporting and keeping the little dancer on track

Colquitt County Arts Center offers hands on pottery classes
to students who are new to clay and those who are more
advanced. Part of our goal as a non-Profit organization is to
make the experience of working in clay and furthering ones
knowledge in clay accessible to everyone in our
community by teaching them to make beautiful pots and
improving their skills through creative input and excellent
instruction. The class fee covers, limited glazes and firing.
Clay can be purchased in class, $15 for 25lbs.
