Introduction
Let me start this guide by saying welcome and thank you for signing up to Betmaid, the one of a kind
betting tool ensuring that you never miss a good bet. Whether you’re a weekend punter, a
professional gambler or a complete beginner, Betmaid can help give you the edge over the
bookmakers.
We encourage a slow and steady approach to gambling rather than a multiple team hit and hope
approach, which will rarely result in long term profit. The driving thought process behind Betmaid is
that it’s better to place 5 bets a day on games which meet your ideal betting criteria perfectly, rather
than trying to pick games out manually and potentially making poor choices. Not only is this time
consuming, but it can often lead to a higher number of losing bets and ultimately loss of profit.
By setting alert criteria and only betting on games which match it, you are giving yourself a much
greater chance of making profit. For example, if a team has double the dangerous attacks and shots
compared to their opposition at the 25 minute mark in a match, they are much more likely to go on
and win. You aren’t going to win all of the time but assuming you spend time setting your criteria
and putting thought into it then you should be winning more than you lose.

please do not hesitate to get in touch with us via email - [email protected]. We’ll always be happy

Setting Up Your First Alert Criteria
Now that you are signed up to Betmaid and have downloaded the app, you are all ready to set up
your first alert criteria! The list of possible criteria sets you could set up is almost endless so we’ll just
show you how to set up your own, along with a few examples we have used in the past.
1. Select the bell icon located at the top right off
the app.
2. Tap the + icon located at the top left and set a
name for your new criteria set. Make sure you
call it something relevant to the situation it is
alerting you to. This ensures you will be able to
identify which criteria set a game is meeting
easily. We’ll call this one “Team Dominating”
3. Tap the ‘Add Option’ button to bring up a list of
the different variables you can use in your alert
criteria. For the sake of this guide we will set up
a minimum game time played requirement. This
is a variable which we use a lot, as it ensures that
the teams are settled into the game and
generally makes the data more reliable. To do
this simply tap ‘Time’, ‘ Game Clock’, ‘More
Than’ and enter the minimum amount of game
time you would like to have been played before
receiving an alert. Once you have entered a
value tap ‘ok’ and this requirement will be added to that alert criteria.
4. If we were to stop now you would receive a notification every time an in play football match
had passed the 25 minute mark. Unfortunately knowing that isn’t going to help win you
much money, so you just need to add more variable requirements as you require.
Pausing a Criteria Set
Not in a position to bet? Need to try save the last precious
% of your phone battery? You can pause alerts by simply
tapping the small bell icon to the left of the Criteria
Name. If the bell has a line through it like in the image to
the right, you won’t receive any alerts for that particular
criteria set. To enable that criteria set simply tap the bell again
Example Alert Criteria
Team Dominating
This criteria is an old favourite of ours at Betmaid HQ. Its main
purpose is to alert you whenever a team is dominating, so you can
have a look and decide if you want to take the bet on or not.
Generally with these alerts you want to be betting on a team to
win, however if the odds aren't favourable you could potentially
take a minus handicap or even a HT win if the the time
requirement has only just been met. This criteria set is perfect for
finding bets in games between teams you just wouldn't be aware
of without Betmaid. As with all of our example criteria, we
encourage you to try changing things up a bit and finding out what
works best for you.
Half Time Win
This is a set up for those of you who don't mind taking risks in
order to gain big rewards. Essentially this alert criteria set will
highlight any team showing very strong early dominance in a
game. With games like this, the odds for the dominating team are
likely to quite short, so taking them to be winning at half time is
the best bet. Not only does this ensure you get maximum odds
value for your money but also reduces the window in which the
run of play can change hands. Not one for the faint-hearted but
when used correctly it can provide a nice boost to your bank roll.
Notice we don’t set a requirement for the teams to be drawing
here as we don’t want to miss any games where a team scored
early but the opposition is still having the better of the game
