as such.

League play will be in the Spring with a Huron-Perth League.

The rules of FIFA (Federation Of International Football Association) will apply
with the exceptions indicated by the Huron Perth Constitution.
All games will consist of two thirty-five minute halves with a maximum of 10
minutes between halves.
A Huron-Perth, round robin schedule will be used. It may not be a complete
round robin, depending upon allowed time in the season.
The play-offs - Senior:
Semi-finals - based upon regular season final standings
1st vs 4th
2nd vs 3rd
Finals - the two winning teams
Junior:
The play-offs shall be a six-team format held over two days:
Quarter Finals: (Day 1)
If practical, games to be run after school hours.
Q1: 3rd place hosts 6th place
Q2: 4th place hosts 5th place
1st and 2nd place receive a bye
Semi-Finals and Finals: (Day 2)

Note: Times may be altered if hosting both Boys and Girls Championships

Officials will be used from Soccer Referee Association where possible.
Substitutions will be allowed only when the ball is out of play (unlimited
substitutions)

after a goal has been scored

for a goal kick

when a player is injured

at half time

on its own throw-ins

on opposition’s throw-in, if the opposition make a substitution
vii.
a player that has been substituted for, may return to the game.
If a tie occurs for any playoff position after league play, the order of teams will be
determined as follows and in order:
i.
Record against each other.
ii.
Goal difference (goals scored minus goals allowed).
iii.
Least goals allowed.
iv.
Most goals scored.
v.
Most shut-outs.
vi.
Coin toss.
PLAYER CONDUCT
4.1
When any player receives a caution and is shown the yellow card, he/she must
immediately leave the field of play for a substitute player. The cautioned player
may re-enter the field of play at the next regular substitution.
4.2
If a player receives a red card, or three yellow cards, he/she will be suspended for
the team’s next scheduled game, including playoffs, WOSSAA, and OFSAA. If
a player receives a second red card, or a second set of three yellow cards, he/she
will be suspended for the team’s next two scheduled games, including playoffs,
WOSSAA, and OFSAA. If a player receives a third red card, or a third set of 3
yellow cards, he/she will be suspended until a board of reference has been
convened
4.3
If a player receives a red card for violent conduct, serious foul play, spitting, or for
the use of foul, abusive, or insulting language or gestures directed at an official,
he/she will be suspended until a board of reference has been convened.

SCORING
5.1
Scoring in all soccer games will be as follows:

Win = 3 points
viii. Draw = 1 point
ix.
Loss = 0 points
For Junior Soccer only
5.2
Goal scoring differential during the regular season, for the purpose of determining
standings, will be limited to a maximum spread of three goals between
competing
teams. (Eg. An 8-2 score would be calculated as a 5-2 score) Total goals scored
will still be reflected for individual player statistics.
CHAMPIONSHIP
i.
The Huron-Perth Championship will be hosted on a rotational basis between
gender. In odd numbered years, the first place boys finisher will host the
championship; in even numbered years the first place girls finisher will. The
team may defer hosting in the event of conflict, or insufficient facilities, at which
point the convenor will select a suitable site.
