GRANT APPLICATION INFORMATION
All-University Sing is a celebrated tradition at Baylor University. The production began in 1953,
and continues today as one of the university’s most cherished events. The Department of Student
Activities is committed to the values of community, diversity, stewardship, education, and faith. In
accordance with those values, the department has established an Organizational Grant for
participation in All-University Sing.
We recognize the financial demand participation in Sing can place on an organization.
Consequently it is our desire to offer a one-time grant to any registered student organization that can
demonstrate financial need and organizational commitment to the production.
GRANT APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS
Organizations applying for the All-University Sing Grant, must meet the following minimum
qualifications:
• Must be a registered student organization with the Department of Student Activities
• Must have at least 20 members committed to performing, each meeting the eligibility
standards of the Department of Student Activities
• Must have met with the Assistant Director of Campus Programs to discuss the
organization’s goals and grant application
• Must agree to participate in Sing during the same academic year of the submission of
the application.
• Should your organization be granted an invitation to Pigskin Revue, your organization
must accept the invitation.
• Must submit the completed application by the Theme/Song Submission deadline.
GRANT APPLICATION LIMITATIONS
• The All-University Sing Grant is available at the determination of the Assistant Director
of Campus Programs after a thorough review of the Student Productions budgets.
• Organizations are only eligible to receive the Sing Grant once every five years, i.e. The
2010-2011 recipient is not eligible for application again until 2015-2016 academic year.
• Grant money is only available for Sing. It does not extend to Pigskin Revue if the
organization is given an invitation.
• A Sing Grant may not be granted every year.
The All-University Sing Grant will be awarded by the Student Productions Committee and
confirmed by the Assistant Director of Campus Programs. All applicants will be notified via
email of their application’s status once the award has been determined.
