Refer a Friend!
Make sure your child has friends on his or her team! Let your friends know about our recreation program by inviting them to play!
Become a Coach!
Our youth need role models like you! Sign up to be a Coach or Assistant Coach today. We need your
help!
PLEASE REGISTER EARLY!
Please note that many of our activities have late registration fees now. We set registration deadlines so
we have time to properly organize activities. Most deadlines are set approximately a week before an
activity is scheduled to begin. Usually, these activities need just a head count so we can insure proper
staffing. After a deadline has passed, it creates additional work ordering extra uniforms and equipment.
This costs us more after our initial order, as we save money with bulk orders.
CREDIT/REFUND POLICY
Full credits or refunds are issued only if a class is cancelled by New Castle Recreation. Credits can be
kept on account for one year from date of issue and applied towards any Recreation Department Program. No credits or refunds will be issued after a program has begun or due to a customer’s failure to
attend a program or due to weather or natural disaster. Written refund requests may be submitted for
special circumstances only. Expenses incurred by Department will not be refunded to customer. Refunds
may take up to 30 days to be processed.
NOW HIRING SPORTS STAFF AND OFFICIALS!
New Castle Rec is always looking for officials and instructors for the sports programs we offer. Pay is
based on experience and ranges from $10-$40. Applications are available on our website or you may stop
by the office and talk to anyone of our kindly staff about these and other opportunities.
