A LI T T LE ME A NS A LO T … PAGE 2 $66.5K Grant for AOI The Christian Foundation has just blessed AOI a $66,500 grant which will be used to upgrade our computer systems, purchase a scanning system for the Storehouse and purchase Christian materials for the CHRISTmas Gift Project (formerly Shoebox Santas) and Baby Bonus Baskets. Some funding has also been allocated to augment executive director and general manager wages. Thanks to the Christian Foundation for their consideration and support of Appalachian Outreach and our mission. Storehouse Update New Truck! Meet Big Bertha, our new box truck. She’s a 24footer with 260 horsepower, air brakes and a jake brake. She also has a pallet-sized lift gate, extra e-track for tie-downs, and a 95gallon fuel tank.
