READING – Poems, Songs, Readings from the book as well as other Supplemental Materials WRITING – H.W. assignments, letters, text for Family Tree, Self-Portrait, and Final Project During the course of the year, there will be various projects such as masks, cards, presentations Cultural Projects will also be a part of the Class – Día de los Muertos, Navidad, Cinco de Mayo and some Internet activities related to Hispanic Culture. HOMEWORK POLICY: Homework is eligible for full credit, when it is turned in the day it is due. Homework is due at the beginning of class. If homework is turned in later during the class period or at the beginning of the next class period, it is worth ½ credit. After the next class period no credit is given. When you are absent due to illness or any other legitimate reasons, you must get your make-up work upon returning to school.
