WHAT’S ON IN NOVEMBER
DAILY
MPAVILION
MPavilion 2016 is the third in a
series of architect-designed temporary
pavilions commissioned by the Naomi
Milgrom Foundation as a cultural
laboratory for Melbourne. Designed by
Bijoy Jain of Studio Mumbai, MPavilion
2016 is a place for you to gather, talk,
think and reflect.
NOVEMBER EVENT PROGRAM
MPavilion hosts a free program of
events in collaboration with more
than 200 designers, artists, students,
universities and cultural institutions.
All events are free. As part of our
flexible and responsive approach, the
event program is added to regularly.
Bookings are required for some events
and workshops. Please check the
website for full details and subscribe
to our newsletter for regular updates:

KIOSK
Serving-up the best of Melbourne all
spring and summer long, Three Thousand
Thieves head-up the MPavilion kiosk
once again. Open daily for your Three
Thousand Thieves coffee fix—with a
new selection of artisan coffee each
month—teas, refreshing drinks, tasty
snacks, and more!
Open daily 9am–4pm and 4pm onwards
for MPavilion events.
MORNING RITUAL
Begin your day with our morning ritual.
Join us daily in the Queen Victoria
Gardens at 9am to add gold leaf to the
bamboo structure—a traditional Indian
good luck custom and your own personal
contribution to MPavilion 2016!
TWILIGHT RITUAL
Join us after sunset for MPavilion’s
daily dalliance with twilight as we
transition into night. Hear a composition
by Melbourne artists Geoff Nees and
J David Franzke, featuring the masterful
tabla playing of Aneesh Pradhan, in-sync
with a light show from lighting designers
bluebottle. This collaboration is a sensory
feast to propel us into the night.
M TALKS
MTalks puts leading minds from
Melbourne and across the world behind
the mic and invites them to investigate
new ideas about architecture, design
and more.
