The reconstruction of Iraq is moving forward and Danish
competencies within energy and water supply, construction, transport, agriculture and food production are in high
demand.
the Confederation of Danish Industry and the Trade Council
of Denmark, Iraqi authorities expressed a wish for Danish
companies to take part in the reconstruction of Iraq as soon
as possible.
Therefore, the Confederation of Danish Industry and the
CGD Dubai invite you to join the third Danish trade mission
to Erbil, the capital city of the Kurdistan Region in northern
Iraq. The trade mission will offer you a unique opportunity
to assess the market potential and to profile your company
to key Iraqi decision-makers.
Since then, commercial ties with Iraqi Kurdistan have been
strengthened. The Confederation of Danish Industry and
CGD Dubai have established a close relationship with the
Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), and in November last year, the renowned Mr. Dara Jalil Al-Khayat was
appointed Honorary Consul of Denmark to KRG by HM
Queen Margrethe II.
Considerable Business Opportunities for Danish
Companies
The Kurdistan Region offers considerable business opportunities in most sectors for Danish companies. In Erbil, imports
cover the main part of both public and private consumption,
and there is an urgent need for infrastructure renovation and
construction in the region.
In response to these market conditions, the Confederation of Danish Industry and CGD Dubai have decided to
organize a third trade mission for Danish companies wishing
to gain or increase their market access in northern Iraq.

Direct Access to Key Decision-Makers
The mission programme, scheduled by the KRG Coordinator
to Denmark, Mr. Delavar Ajgeiy, will offer Danish participants the opportunity to assess the market potential and to
profile their products and expertise to key decision-makers,
meet with relevant ministries and agencies and conduct individual B2B meetings with potential agents, distributors and
customers.
The price of the trade mission is DKK 9,900 and includes an
individual meeting programme plus local transportation.
