As the Fall Season descends upon us and we begin our
usual activities of attending bonfires, burning leaves or
sitting in front of a cozy fireplace, let us be reminded of
our organization’s “Fire it up” membership campaign.
Just as the fires will extinguish without fuel; so will our
Temples cease to exist without members. The Tinderbox
of Ideas booklet has many helpful suggestions that can
be used by not only the membership committee of each
Temple but by ALL members. The green “Matchbox”
tool contains information from the ACTION Team,
Daughters of the Nile Foundation and a pocket-size
Proposal for Membership.
Encourage each member of your Temple to carry the
“Matchbox” tool with them. You never know when you
may meet a prospective member. Your individual Nile
card with your contact information fits nicely in there as
well. We must do all we can to encourage growth of our
beautiful Daughters of the Nile organization.
When you gaze into a fire this season, let it remind
you that “EVERYDAY IS MEMBERSHIP DAY” and
“MEMBERSHIP BEGINS WITH ME.”
