Busy round-trip and
new school-year
Dear friends,

Our school director Pierre went to a
meeting of the sub-division from the Ministry
of Education in Kamonia for all school
directors of this area. Two days before school
starts we have a preparatory meeting with all
the pupils at our school to prepare them for a
good school year ahead.
The inspector from the Ministry of Health
in Kamonia came to visit our Health Center
which is under construction. By now the
outside and inside walls of the building are all
the way up to the roof. The outside walls got
covered with a coat of cement mix to protect

All our 32 students from the 6th grade passed
the final exams at the end of the last school
year. This is a big success for the school and
proves that our teachers and director are doing
a good job. The official name of our school is
„E.P. A.D.H. MUSHAPO”. It stands for „Ecole
Primaire (Primary School) ADH Mushapo”.

are being plastered at the moment. Four rooms
are finished, six more need to get done.
We just finished our two months round-trip
through Germany which went very well. In the
middle of this trip we had a special treat. Our
close friends Dieter und Eva invited us to have
two weeks of beautiful holidays with them in
Brittany. They even paid our fare for our first
holidays in eight years.
Besides visiting friends, relatives and
supporters in Germany, we had our usual

yearly ADH meeting and book keeping work, plus an extra meeting with our three new young
members Angela, Jens and Melanie. Christopher Griebel from „Munich TV” did a new interview
with us which will be aired on 15.09. at 8:15 pm. We’ll send you a link to see it later once we

One of our long-time friends and faithful supporters, Mrs. Renate Blotenberg, sadly passed
away after a battle with cancer. Instead of flowers at the funeral her wish was that people
would send donations to our work which she had fully supported for well over 20 years. This
resulted in a considerable sum - a great help for our work.
Another friend, Dr. Josef Schiele, celebrated the 20th anniversary of his Veterinarian Praxis
and donated the proceeds of that special occasion to our association because he and his wife
see our development projects as the best help in the migration crisis of Europe.
We are very thankful for all our friends, helpers and supporters who make our work possible
and wish you all the best,
