The Thin Blue Line marks the route
of the Marathon, and the exact
measured distance of 42.2km.

480 Poles—including 50 interactive
poles—which capture many of
the memories of the Sydney 2000
Olympic and Paralympic Games,
using informative graphics and
interactive media.
4 The Stadium
Hard to believe what was once an
industrial site is now a world-class
venue and home to the biggest and

5 Catherine (Cathy) Freeman’s
Stride
Follow Catherine Freeman’s
gold-winning 400m run. Each
light in the pavement measures
Catherine’s extraordinary stride to
Olympic victory.
6 The Olympic Cauldron at
Sydney Olympic Park
