Maximizing the intended design function of
any space, Workable Surfaces from Marshfield
DoorSystems combine the beauty of a wood
door with the usefulness of a presentation
board, bulletin board or a mirror.
As part of the Marshfield Signature Series™,
this new idea integrates a dry erase board, a
corkboard or a mirror directly into the door’s
design. This helps create an organized, clean
and functional workspace, which is ideal for
offices, schools, hospitals, dorm rooms, hotels
or anywhere space is at a premium.

Workable Surfaces

For the flexible functionality of dry erase surfaces,
we offer two choices. The first features white
enameled porcelain on 24-gauge steel over hardboard.
This option is magnetic. The second features white
enameled high pressure laminate over hardboard. Both
whiteboard options include three dry erase markers,
an eraser and a holder.
The perfect way to finish a Workable Surfaces Door
is to specify Marshfield DoorSystems’ Enviroclad
UV™ factory finish. Choose from one of our 17
Designer Colors, or if you have a different design
look in mind, allow us to customize the stain to
meet your exact requirements.
The Marshfield DoorSystems Workable Surfaces
Door has flexibility built right in. Responding to the
hassle-free needs of its customers, Marshfield
DoorSystems installs the Workable Surface into the
door at our factory. Should replacement become
necessary, replacement surfaces are available from
Marshfield DoorSystems. To change the surface,
simply take the screws out of the moulding,
remove the old surface, insert the new and reapply the moulding and screws.

As an alternative to wall mounted bulletin
boards, we offer corkboard as a choice.
The corkboard is available in four colors as
illustrated above. This option is the
sensible way to incorporate a bulletin board
into the space without adding clutter to
your walls.
For resourceful reflections, choose the mirrored
surface. Since the mirror is factory installed into the
door, there is no need for unsightly clips to hold the
mirror in place.
Workable Surfaces preserve the elegance of wood
doors by keeping the working area to only one side
of the door. The Workable Surface is integrated
into a particleboard core door and is affixed with
brass screws and matching wood moulding.

The Workable Surfaces Door can now be specified
with a fire rating up to 20-minutes, positive or neutral
pressure, and in a wide range of sizes: 14"x36",

space by integrating a lite opening in your Workable
Surfaces Door, up to 1,296 sq. in. maximum visible
glass area available.
