Celebrate Your Birthday at Moose Hill
Moose Hill offers birthday party programs for children turning 4 to 12 years old.
Your birthday party will begin with an hour-long natural history program (see themes below) led
by a Moose Hill naturalist, who will guide you through activities and outdoor exploration. This
will be followed by an hour of private use of the program space to continue your celebration
under your own supervision.

Let’s Explore
An hour-long guided natural history hike
exploring the season, different habitats,
trail games, and searching for signs of
wildlife. For all ages.
Cost per child: $10 member

Nature Tales
A nature storybook reading followed by a
guided nature hike (see above).
Best for ages 4 - 6.
Cost per child: $10 member

Crafty Critters
Create a simple party-favor craft and follow
it up with an outdoor exploration hike.
For all ages.
Choose one craft design: mammal mask,
butterfly clips, toilet paper roll binoculars,
flutter bird, or glowing firefly.

Nature Games
Learn about animal survival and adaptations by playing camouflage, predator/prey
games, and other very active games in our
Pine Forest. Best for ages 7 - 12.

Additional Details
• Our party maximum is 20 children.
• The fee is calculated per child; there is
a $100 minimum fee for any party.
• A nonrefundable deposit of $100
and signed program agreement
are required to confirm the date and
time of your birthday party. This is
due within one week after scheduling your birthday party.
• The balance (if any) is due the day of
your party and is based on the actual
number of participants that day.
• The naturalist will be ready at the
start of your program. Advise your
guests to be on time and to dress
for the weather.
• All parties have an outdoor component; however, we will not go out
in thunderstorms or other severe
weather conditions; an all indoor
experience will be provided.
• The party host has use of our kitchen.
• An additional 30 minutes prior to the
start of the party is allotted for your
arrival and set up. We will have the
room ready with tables and up to 20
chairs.
• Hosts need to provide any decorations, food, party supplies, and supervision of the children for the second
hour.
• An additional 15 minutes after the
party ends is allotted for packing up
and departure.
• Party host is responsible for trash
removal.
About Moose Hill
Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary, located
in Sharon and established in 1916, is the
oldest Mass Audubon sanctuary and one
of the oldest private wildlife sanctuaries
in the United States. Moose Hill protects
nearly 2000 acres of forests, fields, and
wetland habitats. The Sanctuary offers a
wide variety of programs and services for
children, adults, families, schools, scouts,
and community groups.

Mass Audubon members: Free.
Nonmembers: $4 adults, $3 seniors,
$3 children (age 4-12).
Children three and younger are free.
Sharon residents hike for free.

Spring and Summer: 7am to 7pm
