LANCE ARMSTRONG LIVESTRONG CAMPAIGN (JUNE 13)—The Rays will host Cary Freels as part of the
LIVESTRONG Campaign. Cary is attempting a Guinness World RecordTM in relation to visiting every stadium/arena in
three major American professional sports. The opening leg of the attempt will be to visit all 30 MLB stadiums in 40 days.
He will be joined on the trip by his mother, a recent cancer survivor, and stepfather who will be following in an RV. Cary and
his mother will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Rays – Marlins game.
THE HEART GALLERY (June 13 – June 22)—The Heart Gallery will have a display in the first base food court. The
Progress Energy Heart Gallery of Pinellas & Pasco counties was launched in June of 2006. The gallery provides an
emotionally safe way to connect children with families through a traveling exhibit featuring the faces and stories of local
foster children ready for adoption.
DOLLAR DOG NIGHT (June 13, 20)—Every Friday, non-prime game, the Rays will offer $1 hot dogs throughout the
stadium while supplies last.
FANTASY BASEBALL, PRESENTED BY BASEBALL PROSPECTUS (JUNE 13, 20)—Fans are invited to play Rays
Fantasy Baseball presented by Baseball Prospectus every Friday Night at Tropicana Field. Upon entry fans will be given a
fantasy baseball scorecard where they will pick four players for each team. Based on the outcome of the game, the top five
leading scores will receive game-used equipment or autographed items from Rays players. The season long champion will
receive two home plate club tickets and special pre-game batting practice visit with Joe Maddon and Andrew Friedman.
98 ROCK HOSTS THE 2K8 CHALLENGE (June 13)—Every Friday home game, 98 Rock will host the 2K8 Challenge in
the Left Field Drink Rails. They get started from gates open to the end of the 2nd. They will then choose two finalists which
will play on the RaysVision board at the end of the 6th for prizes from the Rays and 98 Rock.
FESTIVAL LATINO/RAYS SATURDAY, PRESENTED BY CATCH 47/BRIGHT HOUSE NETWORKS (June 14)— Luis
Tiant will be present for Festival Latino signing autographs from 4:10-5:10 in front of the Ted Williams Museum. Tiant, a
Cuban native played 18 years in the Majors with the Indians, Twins, Red Sox, Yankees, Pirates, and Angels. Also, as part
of the festivities, the Latin American Motorcycle Association will have a bike display in Lot 6; the game will be announced in
both English & Spanish; there will be Latin dance instructors in the *tbt Party Deck; and Spanish music throughout the
stadium including a roaming Mariachi band. Presenting sponsors for Festival Latino: Chevrolet, Delta Airlines, Genesis 680 AM and Infinity
Insurance.
MOFFITT CANCER CENTER/RAYS JERSEY RAFFLE (June 14 & 19) –Fans can go to Gate 5 to purchase raffle tickets to
win a Rays player autographed jersey. Proceeds will benefit the Rays Baseball Foundation and the Moffitt Cancer Center.
RAYS SATURDAY, PRESENTED BY CATCH 47/BRIGHT HOUSE NETWORKS (June 14)—Bright House Networks
customers showing their bill at the Tropicana Field Box Office will get two Upper Deck tickets, two hot dogs, two Pepsi’s and
two snacks for $25.
AUTOGRAPH SATURDAY (June 14, 21)—Autograph Saturday’s will feature Rays players from 4:35 p.m. to 5:05 p.m.
along the first base line.
ST. PETERSBURG TIMES FAMILY FUN DAY (June 15, 22)— Baseline Box seats start at $21, and Outfield seats start at
$15 and include a hot dog, snack & Pepsi product. Listed prices for specials increase $2 per ticket beginning five hours
prior to respective game.
FATHER’S DAY (June 15)—Rays Manager Joe Maddon and infielder Carlos Pena have teamed up with the Prostate Cancer
Foundation, to help “Keep Dad in the Game.” Brian Blevins, President of the Tampa Bay Region of the Men’s Senior Baseball
League, which has raised over $100,000 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation, will join Joe and Carlos in a pregame presentation.
Each time a major league player hits a homerun during 60 select games throughout Father’s Day week pledges will be made and
money will be raised for prostate cancer research, a disease that one in every six men will be diagnosed with during his lifetime. In
2007 over 2.6 million was raised and donated to local research institutions in the Southern States region…David Deschenes, a
prostate cancer survivor, will throw out the first pitch accompanied by his 11 year old son Kyle. David was diagnosed with prostate
cancer at the age of 37 and has raised $6,000 for AFAC last year – a Prostate Cancer Foundation program.
Also, Wild 98.7 radio host Orlando will entertain single mothers with their kids for his Third Annual “O’s Your Daddy.”
The Rays will provide Orlando and his guests with pregame field passes and a visit from Carl Crawford.
RAYS WIVES FAHION SHOW (June 15) – the Rays Wives are hosting a Father’s Day Fashion Show with your favorite Rays
players modeling great Nordstrom fashions. Nordstrom at International Plaza is hosting the fashion show which benefits the
Children’s Dream Fund and Rays Baseball Foundation. Doors open at 7pm, show begins at 8pm. Call 727-896-6390 for ticket

THROWBACK TUESDAY (June 17)—For Throwback Tuesday fans are invited to play Rays Bingo, a mixture of baseball
scorekeeping and traditional bingo. The first 50 fans to claim their bingo prize at Gate 3 guest services receive a Rays prize pack,
including their own Rays T-shirt. The person who has won Rays bingo the most times at the end of the season will receive a
special “Dinner with Zimmer” inside the Rays Batter’s Eye Restaurant…Also, postgame, for Throwback Tuesday, we invite fans to
participate in Tropicana Field’s very own Senior Stroll where fans can enter the field after the game and exit through the Center
Field walls.
TUESDAY’S CHAMPION (June 17)—Every Tuesday the Rays along with Champs Sports will host a child from either Make-aWish or Children’s Dream Fund for a special experience. Tuesday’s Champion presented by Champs Sports is an experience for
the child and his/her family to attend a Rays game with VIP treatment. The child receives a personalized jersey, bat, and Rays
gear, along with Champs apparel and gift card. The family, hosted by Rays radio broadcaster Rich Herrera, will watch batting
practice, meet players and coaches, throw out the day’s first pitch, then enjoy dinner in the Whitney Bank Club.
RAYS WIVES SILENT AUCTION (June 17, 18, 19)—Rays wives will be auctioning off baskets filled with the Rays players and
coaches favorite items, including favorite movies, video games, and food along with an autographed item from the player or coach.
The money raised will benefit Camp Erin of Tampa Bay. Camp Erin is a bereavement camp created and funded by the Moyer
Foundation. It is designed for children 6-17 who have experienced the death of a family member or a friend. The camp is a
traditional, fun, high-energy, weekend camp combined with professional grief counseling, education and emotional support. For

tbt* NETWORKING NIGHT (June 19)--For $35 fans may purchase a two hour beer/wine open bar (6:30-8:30) and a ticket in the

AKI PREGAME PRESENTATION (June 19) –prior to the Rays-Cubs game, Akinori Iwamura will congratulate Devin Watson from
Northside Christian Academy and Susie Knowles from Gibbs PCCA, two high school students who will soon be heading to Japan
as part of St. Petersburg’s student-ambassador program. In 2007, when city budget cuts threatened the program, Iwamura
graciously agreed to sponsor it. The program annually sends two high school juniors to St. Pete’s sister city of Takamatsu, Japan.
The students will leave for Takamatsu on June 27.
TURN BACK THE CLOCK/’80’S NIGHT (June 21) –Rays will be wearing replica 1989 St. Petersburg Pelicans jerseys and the
Astros will be wearing replica 1986 jerseys. All of the game used jerseys will be autographed and auctioned off online to benefit
the Rays Baseball Foundation and the Moffitt Cancer Center. Also, pre game the Rays will host a St. Pete Pelicans reunion and
championship celebration.
ALL-STAR DAD (June 21) –The Rays are hosting the 2nd Annual father and kids experience at Tropicana Field. Fathers and the
kids will be rotating through stations on the field participating in interactive games while learning fatherhood tips. For more

CARLOS PEÑA MEET & GREET WITH BIG BROTHERS/BIG SISTERS AND THEIR “LITTLES”(June 22)--from Hillsborough
and Pinellas Counties as the group will be on field to play catch before the Rays-Astros game. Carlos is a spokesman for the Big
Brothers/Big Sisters Sports Buddies program.
