1. Exit the Willard Intercontinental Hotel on to Pennsylvania Ave. NW and turn Right and proceed to 15th St. NW
2. Cross 15th St. NW and then turn Left and proceed on 15th St. NW to Constitution Ave. NW (follow the Red arrows on the map).
3. Cross Constitution Ave. NW and proceed to Madison Dr. NW (first street to the left).
4. Turn Left on Madison Ave NW proceed straight on Madison Ave. NW to 3rd St. NW
P.O.I. = Museum of American History on the left after 14th St. NW
P.O.I. = National Gallery of Art, West Wing, on the left after 7th St. NW

5. Cross 3 St. NW and then turn Left on 3rd St. NW and proceed to Pennsylvania Ave. NW.
6. Turn Right on Pennsylvania Ave. NW and proceed to 1st St. NW.
7. Cross 1st St. NW and proceed through the Capitol grounds gate on the left to the walkway that leads at an angle up to the steps in
front of the U.S. Capitol.
P.O.I. = United States Capitol
8. Turn Right on the walkway in front of the Capitol steps and proceed to the walkway that leads at a diagonal back to 1st St. SW.
9. Turn Right on the walkway and proceed through the Capitol grounds gate to 1st St. SW.
10. Cross 1st St. SW to Maryland Ave SW and proceed on Maryland Ave. SW to 3rd St. SW
11. Turn Right on 3rd St. SW and proceed to Jefferson Dr. SW (first street to the left).
12. Turn Left and cross 3rd St. SW and proceed straight on Jefferson Dr. SW to 15th St. SW **
P.O.I. = Smithsonian Institution Building (castle) on the left after 9th St. SW

13. Cross 15 St. SW and proceed to the walkway that leads around to the left side of the Washington Monument.

14. Proceed straight on the walkway around the left side of the Washington Monument to the walkway that leads away from the
Washington Monument (on the left) through the grass mall area to 17th St. NW
15. Cross 17th St. SW to the walkway leading past the left side of the World War II Memorial .
P.O.I. = National World War II Memorial on right
16. Continue on the walkway past the left side World War II Memorial and proceed to the walkway leading between the two rows
of cherry trees on the left side of the Reflecting Pool.
17. Proceed on the walkway leading between the cherry trees to Lincoln Memorial Circle SW (street is blocked off from auto traffic).
18. Cross Lincoln Memorial Circle SW to the walkway in front of the steps up to the Lincoln Memorial
P.O.I. = Lincoln Memorial
19. Turn Right on the walkway in front of the Lincoln Memorial steps and proceed to Lincoln Memorial Circle SW at the north end of
the steps.
20. Cross Lincoln Memorial Circle to the walkway leading past the National Park Service information kiosk to the Viet Nam Veterans
Memorial.
21. Proceed on the walkway in front of the Viet Nam Veterans Memorial wall to the walkway at the east end of the wall.
P.O.I. = Viet Nam Veterans Memorial
22. Turn Left on the walkway at the east end of the Memorial and follow the walkway system north to Constitution Ave. NW
23. Turn Right on Constitution Ave. NW and proceed to 17th St. NW
24. Cross 17th Ave. NW and then immediately turn Left and cross Constitution Ave. NW and proceed straight on 17th Ave. NW
to E St. NW. (first street to the right).
25. Turn Right on E St. NW and proceed past the White House view area to 15th St. NW.
P.O.I. = The White House on left
26. Turn Left on 15th St. NW and proceed to the Willard Intercontinental Hotel at Pennsylvania Ave. NW
** If you can only commit to 3.5 miles or so turn Right on 15th St. SW and proceed pack to the Willard Intercontinental Hotel at
Pennsylvania Ave. NW
