We are delighted that you have come to
worship with us this morning. We welcome you.
Please make yourself at home. This church is God’s
church; therefore, it is your church, too.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy our Sunday morning
family celebration. We would love to have you feel
so at home here that you would allow us to “adopt”
you and make you part of this wonderful fellowship
called the Marsing Church of the Nazarene. We
sincerely hope that you enjoy your visit with us. And
please come again soon.

UPDATING OF THE
PARSONAGE HAS
BEGUN. Preparations for
painting are underway,
and we will soon be
having new carpeting and
vinyl laid inside. A
WORKDAY FOR INTERIOR PAINTING has
been scheduled for Saturday, May 27. We
could use your help beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Have you made a special donation yet to help
with the costs of this project? If not, why not
do so today?
NEXT SUNDAY
SUNDAY SCHOOL – 10:00 a.m.
Give faithful attendance at Sunday School a
chance to enrich your awareness of the Bible,
your friendships with your brothers and
sisters in Christ, and your overall spiritual
experience. It will do you good!
MORNING WORSHIP – 11:00 a.m.
Pastor will bring his series of messages on
the Creeds of Christianity to a close with a
sermon titled “We Believe in the Life
Everlasting.” Everything we’ve studied
about our Christian beliefs have led us to
this point: Because God’s Word is true, and
because our beliefs are genuine and life
changing, when our faith is in Christ we are
destined to live with Him forever.
WEDDING CELEBRATION: Tim and
Charlene Stanfill will repeat their wedding
vows immediately after the morning service.
You’re invite to celebrate this very special
occasion with them.
MEXICAN POTLUCK NEXT SUNDAY after
the wedding celebration. Bring your favorite
Mexican dishes.
PRAISE AND STUDY – 6:00 p.m.
No Sunday evening service on potluck
Sunday. Plan some special activity or
fellowship time with family or friends.

“Eternal life is not primarily duration but
quality of life, "life to the limit.”
– John Eldredge
“Christians sometimes make themselves into
elephants afraid of mice. You have the Creator
of the universe on your side; not to mention,
you've been given eternal life. 'Whom or what
shall you fear?' To be afraid of anything other
than God himself is like an insult to God.”

“Jesus Christ is the source – the only source –
of meaning in life. He provides the only
satisfactory explanation for why we’re here and
where we’re going. Because of this good news,
the final heartbeat for the Christian is not the
mysterious conclusion to a meaningless
existence. It is, rather, the grand beginning to a
life that will never end.”
– James Dobson
“And when my days run out, I will have lived
just a blink of time and the rest will be eternal
joy.”
– Abby Burlbaug
“As a Christian, our existence here on earth is a
sliver of the eternal pie. Our focus should be on
the whole pie, and not the sliver.”
– Danny Deaubé
“Eternal life truly begins the moment you’re
born again. It’s a present tense – not future
tense – reality. If you’re a believer, eternal life
is now!”
– Andrew Womack
“The truth about forever is that it never gets
any closer or farther away.”
