This warranty covers all defects in workmanship or materials in these parts, arising under normal usage and care; in this product for a period of 12 months from
the date of purchase provided you are able to present a valid proof-of-purchase.
A valid proof-of-purchase is a receipt specifying item, date purchased, and cost
of item. A gift receipt with date of purchase and item is also an acceptable
proof-of-purchase. Product is intended for household use only. Any commercial
use voids the warranty.
This warranty covers the original retail purchaser or gift recipient. During the
applicable warranty period within normal household use, we will repair or replace, at our discretion, any part which proves defective, or replace part(s) with
a comparable model.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS UNITS PURCHASED AND USED WITHIN
THE UNITED STATES AND DOES NOT COVER:
• Damages from improper installation.
• Defects other than manufacturing defects.
• Damages from misuse, abuse, accident, alteration, lack of proper
care and maintenance, or incorrect current or voltage.
• Damage from service by any person or entity other than an authorized dealer or service center.
• This warranty gives you special legal rights and you may also have
other rights to which you are entitled which may vary from state
to state.
Manufacturer does not assume responsibility for loss or damage for return shipment. We recommend that you keep your original packaging should you require
repair service. Before returning product please contact our customer care department for return authorization. When returning product for repair please
include your full name, return address, and daytime phone number. Also include
a brief description of the problem you are experiencing and a copy of your sales
receipt or other proof-of-purchase in order to validate warranty status.

The Tamper
THIS ACCESSORY IS DESIGNED FOR USE FOR THIS 68 OZ.
TRITAN PITCHER. IT IS THE ONLY TAMPER TO BE USED
THIS PITCHER.
Using the 68 oz. Tritan Pitcher
1. Remove the 3.3-liter Tritan Pitcher from the Power Base.
2. Lift the Rubber Base for the larger pitcher off the Power Base.
3. Align the smaller Rubber Base with the 4 upward-facing feet.
4. Press down firmly so that the center knob of the Power Base comes
through the center hole, and the Rubber Base lies flat.
5. Place the 68 oz. Tritan Pitcher on the Base, making sure it fits
securely.
6. The Cooks Companion High Performance Professional Blender
can now be operated, with a maximum capacity of 2 liters (68 fluid
ounces) of food.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT EXCEED 1.25 LITERS (42 FLUID OUNCES) WHEN BLENDING
FOOD FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME, OR WHEN USING HOT INGREDIENTS.
Covering the Lid Cap
Whenever blending with the Lid Cap in place, the Lid Cap Cover must also be
fitted over it. Note that the Cover has four holes on the top to allow steam and air
to vent. Always keep hands away from the vents whenever processing hot ingredients to avoid injury.
1. Align the four corners of the Lid Cap and the Cover and press firmly
until the bottom of the Cover sits on the rim of the cap.
2. Then, align the tab on the bottom of the Cap with the notch in the
rubber lid.
3. Rotate the Lid Cap/Cover clockwise to lock it into place.

1. For moving ingredients toward the blades, with
the blender turned off, remove the Lid Cap and
its Cover and insert the Tamper with the short
end and wide collar above the lid.
2.Begin blending.
3. While holding the handle of the Pitcher with
one hand, rotate the tamper inside the Pitcher.
Never force it straight down.
Cleaning
WHEN CLEANING THE PITCHER, USE CAUTION WHEN CLEANING AROUND THE BLADES
SINCE THEY ARE EXTREMELY SHARP.
1. Half fill the 68 oz. Tritan Pitcher with warm water and a few drops
of liquid dish soap.
2. Add the Lid and Lid Cap with the Lid Cap Cover in place.
3. Switch the machine on, gradually increase the speed to MAX, and
run for 60 seconds.
4. Turn off.
5. Remove Lid, separate the Lid Cap and Lid Cap Cover, and wash—
along with the Tamper—in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry with a
soft cloth.
6. Remove the Tritan Pitcher. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth.
THE BLADES AND THE BLADE ASSEMBLY CANNOT BE REMOVED FROM THE PITCHER.
NEVER ATTEMPT TO DISASSEMBLE FOR REPAIR OR CLEANING.
