Where to go when you get here…
Drive up Pendrell Hall drive where you will approach a water fountain in front of you, drive past the fountain and
towards the guest carpark. On the carpark there will be a building on your right and further down on the right
the staff carpark. Drive on to the staff carpark which will then bring you to the back of the Hall where it will be
easy for you to bring your equipment in and out of the Ballroom where you’ll be playing. If there is no one to
greet you at the back of the Hall when you arrive please ring the intercom which is on the right hand side of the
white door left of the black fire exit staircase.
Pendrell Hall is licensed to play music until 12am (Midnight)
Please ensure all music stops at 12am (Midnight), we suggest you wind things down slightly earlier to
enable you to play the 'one more!!' which is often requested when you have a full dance floor!!
The power to all plug sockets located on The Dance Floor are connected to an automatic timer (which cannot be
overridden as part of our license), the power will be cut at 12.05am to give you time to shut down any sensitive
equipment, music must have stopped at 12am (Midnight).
A sound limiter is fitted at Pendrell Hall
This is a condition of our license this is set to 110 decibels, so as to protect our license, keep our neighbors
happy and to provide your guests with music played at an enjoyable level within the ballroom. We recommend
that you advise your entertainers of the sound limiter and if they are able to perform at this level. Sadly the
limiter is fixed and the event manager is not able to override the settings in any way. The external doors from
the old Library Bar to the rear garden, including the fire door exit to the rear car park must remain
closed while evening music is being played.
Access to the Ballroom with equipment
All equipment for Weddings is delivered to the back of the Hall, proceed to the main Car park, proceed to the
first set of laurel hedging and turn immediately right to the staff only Car park. Over towards the left as you look
at the rear of the hall is the main rear entrance, please use the communication panel on the right of the door.
There is no contractual liability between us in respect of any other third parties employed by the hirer (normally
the Bride & Groom). Any third party suppliers introduced by the hirer must satisfy Pendrell Hall that they are fully
compliant with all statutory regulations, in particular with regard to public liability insurance and electrical safety
(PAC tests).
Please keep the FIRE EXIT clear at all times, no cables may cross this space and the door must
remain closed.
Unfortunately dry ice, smoke machines & similar are not permitted as we have a sensitive fire
alarm system in place as part of our license.
PLEASE NOTE:
We cannot override the automatic timer and it makes for a very disappointing end to the evening
for your client and their guests if a song is cut off half way through.
Please help us to help you provide the perfect evening & entertainment on this special day. We
would also appreciate it if you spot spillages etc. on the dance floor please alert a member of staff.
