Per USEF Hunter Rules for combining sections (effective12/1/2012): High Performance Hunter: Fewer than 3 entries then you must combine with
Second Year Green Working or Green Working. If there are still less than 3 entries then combine with First Year Green Working. When combining
High Performance Working Hunter with another section, if there are different amounts of prize money or entry fees in the original sections, the
combined sections will use the lower amount for both. Green Working – if combined Green Working has fewer than 3 entries, combine with High
Performance Working. Performance Hunter 3'3" or Performance Hunter 3'6" must be combined if there are fewer than 6 entries, but cannot be
combined with other Hunter sections. Conformation Hunter: When offered as two sections, if fewer than 4 entries in either Conformation section,
then they must be combined. Junior Hunters: If there are fewer than 6 entries in any section divided by age and/or height, those sections must be
combined with other sections. Amateur Owner Hunter 3'3" and 3'6": Must offer at least 2 divided sections split 18-35 and 35 and over. At AA rated
competition they may be divided with a floating split. If there are fewer than six entries in either divided section they must be combined. Amateur
Owner Sections (sections offered divided by age) may not be split further with fewer than 30 entries. Sm/Med/Lg Pony Hunter: Height sections
may be combined if there are three (3) or fewer entries in any height section. Combined height sections should be either small/medium or
medium/large but if possible not small/large. Green Pony Hunter: May be combined if there are less than four (4) entries in any height section.

FEES & DECLARATIONS: Entry and Declaration Form deadline is 5:00 PM the day before the class. The order of go will be drawn immediately after that
time. Entries made after this deadline, if accepted, will be charged a $25 Post Entry Fee and will be required to go first in the order. 17 entries needed
to fill.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to any horse / rider combination. Riders, owners and trainers must be current active members of the USEF and USHJA before the
start of the class. Horses and ponies competing in this class must be registered with the USHJA prior to the start of the class. Horses must have
entered and shown in one other class in any type of class at this show. Riders may show as many horses as they wish in this class.
CLASS CONDITIONS: Class will be held as a two round hunter classic. The first round will be a regular hunter classic course consisting of at least 10
fences at 3’0” in height with four option fences at 3’3” in height. The top 12 entries will return for a second round over a handy hunter course
consisting of at least eight fences at 3’0” in height with four option fences at 3’3” to 3’5” in height.
SCORING: Two judges shall sit together and the two scores will be added together. Scores from both rounds will be added together to determine the
placings.
JOGGING: Horses entered in this class will NOT be required to jog for soundness. Any unsoundness during the competition will be reflected in the
scores from the judges (GR 1031.7).
ATTIRE: Formal attire required. (HU 126)
AWARDS / PRIZE MONEY: Winners to ride for awards. Trophy and Ribbon to 1st Place - Ribbons awarded through 12th Place. Prize money divided as
follows: 30%, 22%, 13%, 8%, 6%, 5%, 4%, 3%, 3%, 2%, 2%, 2%.
BONUS POINTS: In order for National Hunter Derby points to be awarded, riders must complete a USHJA Exhibitor Declaration Form. If the Exhibitor
Declaration Form is not completed and submitted to the show office at the time of entry or at least one hour prior to the start of the class, riders will
not receive points for the National Hunter Derby.

CLASS FEE APPLIES
Courses in all jumper classes may consist of any combinations of the following: brush, gate, oxers, post and rails, water, wall, liverpool, panels
and coops. In all classes in this division, ties other than first place shall be determined by time. All ties for first place shall remain tied. Ties
involving Championships must remain tied, with tied horses receiving equal legs on any trophy (JP110.3). Ribbons have the same value even if
less than the specified eight places are awarded due to lack of entries. first Place=10 Points, Second place=6 Points, Third Place=4 Points,
Forth Place=2 Points, Fifth Place= 1 Point, Sixth Place=1/2 point (JP110.2.a) . Fox Lea Farm reserves the right to change the height of nonrated jumper class if it is run with permission of all competitors. Manual poling is prohibited. (JP103.1) Martingales. a. Classes offering less
than $1000- No martingales restrictions. b. Classes offering $1000-$4999- Only standard or running martingales used in the conventional
manner are permitted. c. Classes offering $5000 of more (and all classes restricted to young horses) -Only running martingales used in the
conventional manner are permitted. (JP 111.1.a.b.c.) For all Non Rated Prize Money Jumper classes that do not meet required number of
entries per class specification may be held as a 33% add-back, entry fee $60 if all competitors agree. Please see show schedules for jumper
class tables.
All Jumper Divisions will be held in accordance with USEF Rules and Zone 4 Specifications.

Post Entry Fees: $400 Class Fee for Post Entry. Post Entry Fees will be applied to all entries received after 11 am the day before the Grand Prix. Please
see show schedules. Declaration Forms are needed at this time as well. The Order will be established by management. If entered after the order of
go is made, entry will go at the top of the order. 15 ENTRIES REQUIRED.
ALL HORSES MUST BE ON THE SHOW GROUNDS 24 HOURS PRIOR TO THE CLASS TO COMPLY WITH THE 24 HOUR RULE. Horses not on the grounds
prior to that time will not be able to compete and will forfeit the class fees. Poling: Absolutely no poling or offsets are allowed at any time. Attire:
Formal attire required.
If after the rider walks the course and they must scratch, they will be eligible for refund of half the entry fee.
Time first jump off. The first round and first jump off, if any, are decided by adding together the faults incurred over the course and any penalties for
exceeding the time allowed. In the event of equality of faults after the first round, there will be one jump off for first place only in which time will
