Things to See and Do in Zihuatanejo
Snorkelers, SCUBA divers, and swimmers will love this pristine aquatic playground with clear blue water that maintains a balmy
temperature year-round. Surfers will have no trouble staying busy as the coastline is famous for its formidable surf and excellent
waves. Walk down Las Gatas Beach to visit the old lighthouse El Faro perched upon tall cliffs that overlook the islands of Ixtapa and
Playa Blanca. Travel south to Petatlán, a small colonial ranching town known for its open-air gold market and majestic church. On the
way take a break by the ancient village of La Soledad de Maciel; an archeological site. For those looking for delicious seafood and a
glimpse into the fishing culture of south Mexico, a visit to the fishing hamlet of La Barra de Potosí is not to be missed.

Driving Directions
From Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International Airport:
Contact WorldMark by Wyndham Travel Department for information on car rentals and airport
shuttles.
Exit the airport and take a left on Carretera Aeropuerto.After 5.3 km merge onto
Acapulco–Zihuatanejo/Petalan. Drive 5.7 km and turn left on Av. Jose Maria Morelos y Pavon.
Continue onto Paseo de La Mantarraya / Paseo del Cantil. At Paseo del Morro turn left to stay on
Paseo de La Mantarraya / Paseo del Cantil. Make a right on Contramar and a sharp left toward Paseo
del Morro. After 190 meters the resort will be on the left.
