CURRICULUM VITAE
Il Prof. FRANCESCO PAOLO INTINI ha studiato presso l’Università degli Studi di Bari dove si è
laureato nell’A.A. 1983-84, in Chimica e Tecnologia Farmaceutiche, con una tesi dal titolo: "Sintesi
di Derivati Carbonilici di Peridro-Pirrolo[3,4-c]Piridina, Strutturalmente Analoghi a Basi
Puriniche", relatore il Prof. Marcello Ferappi. A partire dal 10/01/2001 è in servizio in qualità di
Ricercatore Universitario per il settore scientifico disciplinare CHIM/03 presso l'Università degli
Studi di Bari e confermato nello stesso ruolo a partire dall'11/01/2004. Dal 2001 al 2005 è stato
membro del Collegio dei Docenti del Dottorato in Sintesi Chimica ed Enzimatica Applicata e
successivamente della Scuola di Dottorato in Scienze Chimiche e Molecolari, nel cui ambito ha
svolto il ruolo di curatore e supervisore di tesi di Dottorato. Dal 2005 ha tenuto l’insegnamento di
Chimica Generale ed Inorganica per il corso di laurea triennale in Tecniche Erboristiche, rinominato
dal 2014: Scienze e Tecnologie Erboristiche e dei Prodotti per la Salute (STEPS), presso il
Dipartimento di Farmacia - Scienze del Farmaco (Ex Facoltà di Farmacia). A decorrere dal 31/10/
2015 è Professore Associato per il settore C03X presso il Dipartimento di Chimica della stessa
Università. Per l’AA 2016-2017 è titolare, del corso (A-E) di Chimica Generale e Inorganica per la
laurea magistrale in Farmacia e nella stessa disciplina per il corso triennale di STEPS.
Svolge attività di ricerca nel laboratorio di Bioinorganica del Dipartimento di Chimica della stessa
Università. Collabora con il Dott. V. Brabek (Accademy of Sciences of Czech Republic, Brno) ed
ha collaborato con il Prof. M. Leng (CNRS, Centre de Biophis. Moleculaire, Orleans-France), con il
Prof. L. G. Marzilli (Lousiana State University, U.S.A.) e con il Dott. E. Sletten (University of
Bergen, Norway).
L'attività scientifica svolta è documentata da 81 pubblicazioni tra articoli su qualificate riviste
internazionali e capitoli di book, da un brevetto e dalla partecipazione a numerosi congressi
nazionali ed internazionali.
Le ricerche svolte hanno riguardato i seguenti settori:
1) Complessi di coordinazione del platino con nitrili e reazioni di somma al triplo legame;
2) Complessi di coordinazione del platino con fenantroline e diammine stericamente ingombrate e
loro reattività con etilene e dimetilsolfossido;
3) Sintesi di composti antitumorali (analoghi del cisplatino e complessi non classici a geometria
trans);
4) Complessi dimeri di platino(III)
