Climax: This is the highest point of interest or
drama in the story. The story line or conflict
explodes and is solved here. The suspense is at its
peak.
Exposition/
Introduction:
Introduction of
problem, the reader
is introduced to the
character, setting,
and background
information.
Resolution/Denouement:
Final
resolution of the main complication. The
term denouement is the final resolution of
the main complication. Denouement applies
only to stories with happy endings. Tragic
endings are termed catastrophe.
