We filled cups up with water. The children took turns
using a pipette to squirt water over their ice cube.
Some children poured the entire cup of water over the
ice cube. Others swirled the ice cube in water.
We learn to:
• Explore how properties can change
• Independently develop hypotheses, make
predictions, plan investigations an draw conclusions
We learn it by:
• Participating in the melting ice cube experiment
