Destinations: Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, Murchison falls’ National Park and Kidepo Valley National Park.
This "African Big Five" safari takes you to Africa’s untamed natural wilderness. Its more than the
Africa’s big five Game which includes the Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant and Buffalo.

Pre- tour: Arrival Day
You shall be met at the airport by an African Big 5 safari welcome staff, who will usher you to the
shuttle van and give you briefs about your tour and what you should expect. A lovely 45 minutes drive
to Kampala to your night’s accommodation.
Meal plan: Breakfast
Day 1: Kampala - Murchison Falls National Park
Our safari day starts with your guide picking you at the hotel at 7.00am. Have a 3 hrs drive to Masindi
where you will have a coffee break. Continue to the lodge for lunch.
Have an evening game drive.
Back to the lodge for your dinner and overnight

Day 2: Murchison Falls
We are out in the jungle early before the crack of dawn in search for the big elusive cats in an open
roofed safari vehicle. With the skilful eyes of your guide, you are likely to spot the Lion, Leopard,
Buffalo, Giraffe, Elephant, oribi, hartebeest to mention but a few. Following your lunch at the lodge, we
shall go for a cruise on the Nile waters to view the gigantic Nile crocodiles, Hippos beating off the heat
alongside their buffalo friends, as well as elephants which will be seen at the river banks and a stunning
array of charming birds dotting our skies as we sail to the base of the Murchison falls.
For greater action, we stop at the base of the falls and take a guided 30 minutes hike to the top of the
falls great scenery here as another yet gorgeous falls Uhuru will be seen. At the top, you are at the
most outstanding and glorious falls with the most powerful water surge in the world.
Back at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Murchison Falls – Kidepo Valley National Park
Have your breakfast early and we continue to explore further north to north Eastern of Uganda, driving
to Kitgum where we shall have our Lunch break. Continue to Kidepo valley National Park (23hrs). Check in at your accommodation.

Day 4: Kidepo Valley National Park
Have a full day in Africa’s most secluded park with an off beaten track. In the Narus valley, with the
greatest concentration of game we shall see the tree climbing Lions, leopard, various species of
Antelopes, Buffaloes. Kidepo is the only park in Uganda with both the Zebra and giraffe. It’s also the
only park where you see the Cheetah, Bat eared fox, striped Hyena, Hunting dog, caracal and Aard
wolf. After our lunch, we continue our search in the game territory adding to our animal and bird list.

Day 5: Kidepo – Gulu
We shall have an early start, departing the park passing through Kitgum and then finally to Gulu (6
hrs). We drive to the slave trade trail in Fort Patiko aka Sir Samuel Baker Fort. This brings us back to
an important part of history back in the day when slave trade was at its peak.

Day 6: Gulu- Ziwa Rhino – Kampala (5 hrs)
After your breakfast, we drive out of Gulu to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary in Nakasongola (2 3/4hrs) where
the Rhinos are being breed after their extinction in Uganda. This walk in search for the Rhinos will take
us 1-2 hours with rich information from the ranger guide about the Rhinos. Your visit to this place is
your great contribution in the reintroduction of the Rhino in Uganda.
Drive to Kampala to your accommodation. Or drive straight to the airport for your late evening flight.
Post tour: Departure
Pick you from the hotel and go for your shopping then drop you at the Airport.
