Opening: What was the best thing that happened to you this past week?
1. What insight, principle, or observation from this Sunday’s
message did you find most helpful, eye-opening, or troubling?
2. How have you been prideful or critical in the past?
3. Read Proverbs 11:2, 16:5, 16:18, 29:23 together and list the
characteristics of pride.
4. How does Romans 7:18-19 relate to James 4:17? How are we
to do deal with this?
5. What new attitudes or changes in behavior do you think James
wants to see in his readers (and us)?
6. If you knew you were going to die tomorrow, how would your
attitude toward life today be different?
