Canada’s Links with the World
You will study another country that has links with Canada. You will compare your
country with Canada in terms of political, social, physical, and economic links.
You will prepare a display board to show your maps and pictures, and include
your written information. You will present your information as a presentation in
front of the class.

Success Criteria for Canada Links Project
o I have created a population distribution map, a physical features map, an
agricultural land use map, and a political map for my country.
o I have explained the similarities and differences between my country and
Canada using the population distribution map, physical features map,
agricultural land use map, and the political map for my country.
o I have coloured a map for my country.
o I have included pictures of my country showing important landmarks,
buildings, and cultural events.
o I have described the government system. I have explained how the
government system is similar or different to Canada’s government system.
o I have described the economy for my country – import goods and export
goods
o I have shared any additional links my country has with Canada
o I have practiced my presentation so I will speak clearly and confidently
