LALMIN® Se - High Bioavailable Selenium
Lalmin® Se is a dried inactivated whole cell yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) containing elevated
levels of selenium in its natural food form, L(+) selenomethionine. Selenomethionine is naturally
found in edible plant proteins and is highly bioavailable and safe compared to inorganic forms of
selenium.

LALMIN® VitaD - Natural Sunshine Vitamin
Lalmin® Vita D is a dried inactivated whole cell yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) containing
elevated levels of vitamin D2. The content of Vitamin D2 is enhanced through the conversion of
the naturally present endogenous ergosterol to ergocalciferol (Vitamin D2) by the yeast.
This process provides a natural safe form of vitamin D.
Vitamin D2 & Immunity(2):
Vitamin D plays a regulatory role in the functioning of the immune system and it has been
shown to be part of the immunomodulation in case of excessive inflammatory response.
GLUCANS 30 - Activated Yeast ß-glucans
GLUCANS-30 is a natural cell wall fraction of Saccharomyces cerevisiae containing elevated levels
of ß-1,3/1,6-glucans. The cell walls are purified and exposure to ß-1,3/1,6-glucans is increased
through an activation procedure. This specific process allows to naturally obtain yeast ß-glucans
which show a biological activity(3) similar to those obtained by chemical extraction.
Glucans-30 & Health Effects:
There are different types of β -glucan with different levels of activity according to their
specific structure: research has shown that yeast (1,3/1,6) β-glucan has a greater biological
activity than its (1,3/1,4) β-glucan counterparts. β-glucan from yeast cell walls is a strong
antioxidant(4) which protects the cellular integrity from oxidative injury following a strong
activity of the immune cells (release of large amounts of toxic oxidizing substances).
